Bun B is back with some brand-new music and an all-new podcast network.

On Friday, August 22, the UGK legend shared his new single "I Can't Lie" featuring Scotty ATL and Monaleo. The Cory Mo and Ray Murray-produced track lets Bun talk his s**t on a smooth verse, in which he reps the South and puts his family first. Bun's new song also brings together three generations of Southern music from Houston to Atlanta. In the official music video, Scotty ATL delivers his verse alongside Bun while seated in a red Cadillac Coupe De Ville, while Texas native Monaleo spits her verse in the studio.

"I Can't Lie" is set to appear on Bun's upcoming album Way Mo Trill, executive produced by Cory Mo. The project serves as the sequel to their 2022 joint effort Mo Trill, which is jam-packed with all-star collaborations with 2 Chainz, Wale, CeeLo Green, Big K.R.I.T., David Banner, Jazze Pha, Slim Thug, Lil' Keke, Trae Tha Truth, Larry June, Z-Ro and plenty more.

Bun B's new song arrived a day after he announced the plans for his new podcast network. The Trill Burgers co-founder, along with Jeffrey Sledge and Merrick Creative's Tom Frank, launched Merrick Studios with a full slate of shows. All nine programs, including Bun, Tom and Jeffrey's new podcast Unglossy, were built with a creator-first model that makes producing, recording, and promoting podcasts effortless.

“At Merrick Studios, we’re not just building a network of shows—we’re building a family of creators,” Bun B said about the podcast network. “When you’re part of this network, you’re never on your own. You have the full weight of our production team, promotional reach, and monetization strategies behind you, plus the ability to collaborate and cross-promote with other hosts. That’s how great conversations find bigger audiences.”
