In honor of Juneteenth, the Black Information Network (BIN) will present a special edition of its signature public affairs program, The Black Perspective. The one-hour broadcast, titled "Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom and Progress," will air on Thursday, June 19, at 11:00 a.m. ET and again at 7:00 p.m. ET across all 24/7 BIN terrestrial stations and streaming platforms.

Hosted by BIN Managing Editor Mike Stevens, the program will feature in-depth interviews and insightful conversations exploring the historical significance of Juneteenth, the enduring legacy of emancipation, and the ongoing journey toward equity and justice in the United States.

Through powerful storytelling and perspectives from voices across the Black community, this special edition aims to inform, inspire, and commemorate the spirit of Juneteenth — a day that honors both the struggles and the strides made since freedom was first declared in Galveston, Texas, in 1865.
